The Diplomacy Ring

There are literally hundreds of web sites out there on the subject of the game of Diplomacy. With increasing frequency, we've been receiving requests to add sites to the Online Resources section that we have had to turn down to keep the section to a manageable size. We have been limiting links in that section to sites that might be of interest to a broad audience. However, we recognize that there are plenty of other great sites which are associated with the hobby that, while not being general resources, are worth checking out.

So, in response to the numerous link requests we've been getting, we have created a Diplomacy Ring which will be quite liberal about which sites are linked to it. In fact, we won't really be doing any screening other than verifying that there is, indeed, some Diplomacy-related content on a page that is submitted.

• To add your site to the Diplomacy Ring, go to the Diplomacy Ring page and click on the "Join This Ring" button at the right side of the purple bar.
  IMPORTANT NOTE: You must add a Ring Navigation Bar to your web page. For instructions on how to do that, see the confirmation email you get after submitting your site to the ring.
• To edit information about your site, go to the Diplomacy Ring page. Depending on whether or not you have signed in already and on how your preferences are configured, you may or may not have to sign in. If you see a "My Rings" link at the very top of the page, click on the link. Otherwise, click on the "sign in" link at the right side of the grey bar that says "Welcome, Guest!", sign yourself in, and then click on "My Rings" at the top of the page. The Diplomacy Ring will be in the list you see, and to the right of it will be the name of your ring site. To the right of that will be a list of actions. Click on "Manage Site" to edit information about your site.
• To have your site removed from the ring, follow the above procedure but click on "Leave Ring" under actions instead.
• To notify us of a broken site in the ring, please email us. (Given the frequency of downed servers on the web, broken sites will be given a few days to come back up before being removed.)
