Charlie's comments:
France: In the four France wins, France has grabbed the same 9 SC's
every time. In Jun1h, France also grabbed NMD for its 10th SC.
England:
I had agreed with Andy that perhaps the English player should abandon
Guyenne.
But now I see that in both English wins, he kept Guyenne.

That the cluster of supply centers around Paris is the heart of the boar is aptly demonstrated by these statistics. Only those six spaces have occupancy rates greater than 90%. One hundred fan, Vincent Mous, recognized this in the course of playing the game:
In the midgame, Paris is a very important center to hold. It is a supply center, but it is even more important tactically because it borders five other supply centers (a big number for Hundred). Actually, it only borders supply centers. If you hold Paris, whoever you are, you can easily launch supported attacks on neighbouring centers. For this reason, I think Paris changes hands very often, because no one wants someone else to have it.To read Vince's and other player's insights regarding the strategic importance iof the various spaces on the board, check out the player's sidebar.
I should also like to point out that The Mediterranean has been occupied since this chart was compiled, leaving no space untouched on the hundred board.
