- replaced by Jeff Dwornicki in 1903
Matt
Shields -I kind of intrigued about how this happened. When I left, I thought you
guys had him stopped. I forget what happened, but I thought Jake had
screwed
something up in the Balkins, and was going to start losing dots. He was at
14 or 15 when I left.
What
all did he pick up? Liverpool I suppose? What else?
Jake
Mannix - I was dying in the Balkans, but picking up randomly all over the place
– a botched attack on my Venice let me retreat to Rome, and then pick Venice
back up, and once Jeff lost LVP to me, his disband put me in a winning positio
in the west: I was going to *keep* losing easterncenters, but not fast
enough to lose Rom/Ven/Vie before picking up Jeff's dots. Nathan's fleets
couldn't get out to the western med fast enough while taking Rom/Ven back at the
same time not with Jeff disbanding.
We
didn't take it to the full 18, but it was conceeded at 17 when it was clear I'd
probably lose one of Ven/Rom/Vie but pick up probably both Par and Bre in short
work, etc.
It was a tactical mess all over the place. I was at 14 for maybe 5, 6 years.
