BUZ EDDY

This is the first C-Diplo game recorded by the NADF. Both the Masterpoint awards and the rating changes,  begin with the North American draw based scoring assumptions. The ratings have a modification built in for the center counts that was used by the Boston Massacre, but no modification for the top three positions in a game by center count,  which provides 59% of the score.  This will be developed C-Diplo scoring is 38 for table top, 14 for send, 7 for third, 34 for centers owned, and 7 awarded 1 per player.

NICOLAS LESSARD

We did have a great tournament to which participated 19 people. Everything was just perfect except for the third game that had to be started later since we were missing a few players.

I wish indeed to organise a similar event this summer and to invite Canadians, Americans et Europeans. It will depend on the number of people interested since many go out on vacation. Also, for the precise date of the event, it would have to be before the 20th of August since a lot of our players are students and most of them will start school on that day. I will give you all the info as soon as I start organizing this event.

YANN CLOUET

2 good news for North America :

1) the first Quebecian tournament was held this week-end, and it had 21 players

2) you now have a wider choice of scoring system, since it was a C-Diplo tournament (I can already figure Edi jumping from his chair ;-). That makes C-Diplo the only scoring system to be played on 5 different continent + the largest Internet competition. :ob For a first try they just held it as a 1 round tournament, but they intend to make a second convention around March and a real tournament in August.
