BoruCon Scoring
1. Scoring
Individual games are scored using the C-Diplo system (modified, Irish-style).
1.1. Game Score (GS)
GS = Centre count + Participation Bonus + Positional Bonus + Survival Bonus
Participation bonus = 1 point for all players (except in the case of a solo).
Positional bonus is :
- 1st Place – 40 points
- 2nd Place – 20 points
- 3rd Place – 10 points
- 4th Place – 5 points
Survival bonus is :
For each year that you survive you score two points (one for spring and one for fall). Thus if you are eliminated in 1905, you score 2pts for each year previous to that. 1901, 2, 3 & 4 is four years at 2 pts each, which is 8 pts.
A player taking 18 centres scores 89 points while all other players on that board score only survival points.
Example: On a board of 7 the following results are obtained

| 11 + 56 + 30 = 97
|
1.3. Irish Champion Decided

Example: Ted, Bob, Pete and Will form a team and they get Game Scores as follows in the Saturday Morning Round.
Name
| Game Score
|
Ted
| 41
|
Bob
| 3
|
Pete
